The first rays of sunlight slipped through the bedroom curtains as another peaceful morning began. Birds sang outside while the neighborhood remained quiet.
Inside the bedroom, Wayne and Lauren were still asleep beneath a light blanket. Lauren rested her head against Wayne's shoulder while he held her close. Neither of them realized someone had quietly entered the house.
At the end of the hallway, Honeypot slowly stepped forward.
She stopped the moment she looked through the bedroom doorway.
Her smile disappeared.
HONEYPOT:
"So... this is why you disappeared."
Chapter 2 – A Heart Filled With Jealousy
Honeypot remained frozen.
Pain rushed through her heart as memories of Wayne filled her mind. She remembered every promise he had once made and every dream they had shared together.
Now another woman was sleeping beside him.
Tears formed in her eyes before quickly turning into anger.
HONEYPOT:
"You replaced me..."
She slowly looked toward the kitchen.
A knife rested quietly on the counter.
Her eyes locked onto it.
Chapter 3 – The Dangerous Decision
The house remained completely silent.
Wayne shifted slightly in his sleep while Lauren smiled peacefully without opening her eyes.
Neither of them sensed the danger growing just outside their bedroom.
Honeypot slowly picked up the knife.
Her hands trembled.
HONEYPOT:
"You took everything from me."
She slowly walked toward the bedroom door.
Chapter 4 – Every Step Brings More Tension
Lauren suddenly frowned in her sleep as if she sensed something was wrong.
Wayne briefly opened his eyes after hearing a faint sound.
He looked around the room.
Everything seemed normal.
He closed his eyes again.
Outside the room, Honeypot quietly pushed the bedroom door open.
The old hinges creaked softly.
HONEYPOT:
"This is your fault..."
Chapter 5 – The Moment Everything Changed
Morning sunlight continued filling the room while birds chirped outside.
The peaceful atmosphere sharply contrasted with the tension inside the house.
Honeypot stepped into the bedroom.
Suddenly...
A picture frame slipped from the wall and crashed loudly onto the wooden floor.
Wayne's eyes flew open.
Lauren immediately sat upright.
WAYNE:
"Honeypot...?"
LAUREN:
"What are you doing here?"
Chapter 6 – Face to Face
Wayne quickly stood between Lauren and Honeypot.
He carefully raised both hands, hoping to calm the tense situation.
WAYNE:
"Please... let's talk."
Honeypot slowly shook her head.
HONEYPOT:
"There is nothing left to say."
She tightened her grip on the knife while staring directly at Lauren.
The room fell completely silent.
Final Chapter – The Mysterious Voice
Honeypot took one more slow step forward.
Before anyone could move...
A loud voice echoed from downstairs.
UNKNOWN VOICE:
"STOP!"
Everyone instantly turned toward the hallway.
A mysterious figure appeared at the bottom of the stairs.
Wayne's face turned pale.
Lauren gasped in shock.
Honeypot froze where she stood.
The stranger slowly walked toward them.
Who had arrived?
And would this unexpected visitor stop the tragedy before it was too late?
